About Me.

Hi there! My name is Akshay and I’m a product designer and user researcher from Seattle, WA. I’m currently a senior at Purdue University, where I’m pursuing an undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary engineering with a concentration in design.

My goal is to combine the fields of anthropology, psychology, and design to create functional and enjoyable experiences. Over the past three years, I’ve been designing experiences on an enterprise scale and working with data visualization and design systems. I’m interested in tackling design challenges in generative AI, Fintech, crypto, entertainment/media, and marketplaces.

In the past, I’ve worked as a product designer at Datadog on the Core Data Visualization team, where I improved the overall experience of data monitors. I’ve also worked at VMware on the Edge Network Intelligence team, designing a new enterprise networking application.

In my free time, I enjoy photography, drinking coffee, fashion, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
